Kinhaven Semester School
The Trillium String Quartet serves as the Faculty Quartet at Kinhaven’s innovative fall Semester Program, which ran for the first time in the Fall of 2025. As faculty, Trillium works closely with a selective group of advanced high school musicians from September to December, providing a holistic musical education that includes daily coachings, weekly private lessons, open rehearsals, masterclasses and more. We prepare our students for weekly performances, as well as equip them with the skills to speak directly to audiences and connect effectively with listeners. The collaboration between Kinhaven and Trillium rests on a mutual belief in collaboration over competition, immersive musical experiences, and engaging with new communities.

Masterclasses & Coachings
The Trillium String Quartet gives regular coachings and masterclasses, in educational engagements as a part our “Hometown Tours,” as well as in our part-time home-base of Cleveland, through partnerships with Cleveland Institute of Music’s Academy program during the spring and the Chamber Music Institute at Cleveland Institute of Music over the summer.
