Welcome to the official website of the Trillium String Quartet! Our relationship with our audiences is our passion and priority; we’re excited to offer this platform as a way to stay connected with you, keeping you informed about our upcoming projects, sharing pictures and videos of our performances and providing resources for you to discover even more about Trillium!
Trillium String Quartet was formed in 2024, when four friends who loved chamber music as individuals found an even greater love for playing this music together. Since its earliest days, Trillium has been a tool of great discovery for all of us – a place for us to grow musically, collaborate openly and encourage creativity. As we’ve grown, we’ve been able to solidify these discoveries into a coherent mission, which rests on a bedrock of a few key principals: an approach to performance that draws inspiration from our audiences, an open-minded embrace of all music and a deep love for the art of teaching.
The Trillium String Quartet, Inc. is in the process of filing for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, in order to broaden the reach of our mission and ensure we have the best possible resources for upholding these core values. If you are interested in learning more about Trillium, please see our “Contact Us” form, or reach us through Instagram, Facebook or email!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for visiting our website and being part of our community!

“I’m thrilled to be presenting this quartet of fantastic young women, and this particular program which features the music of the recently rediscovered Black American genius Florence Price and the exciting, innovative music of one of the leading composers of our time, Gabriella Smith.”
